With more than 25 years of experience in the food industry Bob brings a wealth of talent with a background in development, manufacturing as well as sales and marketing. Bob first entered the food industry when he founded Gourmet Bagel Chips in 1987. After selling the G.B.C. in 1992 Bob became a partner Innovative Food Concepts a product development firm specializing in frozen entree's and appetizers. In 1994 Bob accepted the opportunity to do a turn around on a struggling frozen pizza and Italian entree company. He was able to return the company to profitability in under 12 months while expending the product offering and diversifying the client base to include customers such as Sara Lee, United Airlines, Aldi, and many grocery chain's. In 1997 Bob became a partner in Global Culinary Solutions (now known as Smithfield Innovation Group) a product development and co-manufacturing firm. GCS developed a wide of items for numerous top tier firms such as Sara Lee, Schwan's, Wal-Mart and Omaha Steaks as well as for various other retailers. In 2002 Bob became a founding partner of P.O. Food Specialists. Within the first 24 months of business P.O. Food Specialists developed and launched over twenty items for a large national chain including Fresh Salsa, premium salad dressings, assorted pork items, frozen appetizers and more. In addition to P.O. Food Specialists Bob is also a partner in Garden Fresh Gourmet (which is the largest fresh Salsa manufacturer in North America, the third largest Hummus producer in the United States and produces Tortilla Chips and dips both under the Garden Fresh brand as well as the Margaritaville brand) and in Chicago Premier Meats a boutique meat company in the Chicago's Stockyards.
